CAD for Beginners

Program Overview

This CAD for beginners course will teach you how to use AutoCAD, Solidworks, and Adobe to create professional-quality designs. You will learn how to create 2D drawings and models, 3D models, renderings, and presentation boards. The course is designed for designers and professionals with litle design software experience and will help you bring your designs to life and allow you to present ideas to clients in a coherent way. It’ll also be useful if you need to replicate or change dimensions of existing designs without having to amend or purchase pre-existing designs.

You can choose from three start dates (September, January, May) and typically takes between 21-33 months to complete, subject to your pace of study and module availability. You'll study eight modules in total, with a maximum of two modules each trimester where available.
