Program Overview

This Professional/Short course program in Law for Surveyors is offered by Nottingham Trent University. The program will help develop knowledge and understanding of legislation and legal principles relevant to the work of Chartered Surveyors and advisers working in the real estate and construction professions. By the end of this course, students will be able to understand the operation of Acts of Parliament and case law within the legal system of England and Wales, evaluate and apply these principles of law within the context of the property industry, analyze different legal aspects of property occupation in current practice, and understand law and practice in appraising scenarios using legal authority and reasoning to inform future practice.
