- The degree is accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM) comprising of the Institution of Civil Engineers, Institution of Structural Engineers, Institute of Highway Engineers, and the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation on behalf of the Engineering Council as meeting the requirements for Further Learning for a Chartered Engineer (CEng) for candidates who have already acquired a partial CEng accredited undergraduate first degree.

For part time Postgraduate degrees the discount will apply to years one, two and three only and any additional years will be exempt from the discount. Entry Requirements:
- Academic Requirements: A 2:2 or above for a Bachelor (Honours) Degree within the Civil Engineering discipline.
- Work Experience: The University may consider lesser qualifications if you have sufficient relevant work experience within the industry.
- International Students: The University does not sponsor students to study on part-time programmes in the UK under the Student Visa route. This may not apply if you have completed all your school qualifications in English, or your undergraduate degree was taught and examined in English (within two years of starting your postgraduate course).
