Outline
Module Goal
To develop professional skills essential to success in the modern agri-food sector, including expertise in effective communication, teamwork motivation, performance improvement, and personal effectiveness.
Module Content
This module has been designed de novo to meet connected curriculum ambitions. Specifically, the curriculum strongly focuses on transdisciplinary integration by incorporating messy and complex problems in the learning materials and assessments. Furthermore, the module explicitly cultivates environments wherein students’ intentional learning capacity is challenged and supported to develop and represent their developing employability competencies and capacities for the sector.
Additionally, the module incorporates content from a range of disciplines. Finally, the module actively connects learners with authentic issues in the agri-food sector based on their extra-academic experience.

Fees and Costs
The HCI Pillar 3 Micro-credential Learner Fee Subsidy has been introduced to enable more learners to address critical skills gaps and engage with lifelong learning.
The fee for this micro-credential is €1500 but applicants who meet the subsidy requirements can attend this micro-credential for €300.
