Develop expertise in Spanish, French, German or comparative literature, and further your knowledge in literature and cultures across the world. You'll undertake an in-depth study of literature in your language specialization and work closely with our faculty on research. Non-thesis options are available.

What You’ll Study
Coursework includes literary and cultural theory, research methods, analyzing and discussing texts in the target language (orally and in writing) and producing original research that demonstrates graduate-level discourse. Admission and graduation requirements vary by area of specialty.
