Retail Management: Retailing, B.S.
College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management
One of the largest four-year programs of its kind in the nation, this degree prepares students to succeed in the largest private job sector in the country.
Students are prepared for careers in a wide range of business-to-business and business-to-consumer sectors, such as consumer products, apparel, banking, real estate, health care, and ecommerce. The curriculum incorporates courses on the latest industry technology to prepare graduates with in-demand experience and knowledge.

- iHub Store: Enjoy experiential learning in Gamecock iHub, USC’s Apple Authorized Campus Store, managed by the Department of Retailing.
- Specialized Skills: Earn industry certifications in loss prevention, category management, website development, and leading tech applications.
What You’ll Study
The degree combines a strong foundation in business fundamentals with a specialized curriculum in sales, ecommerce, customer relationship management, product marketing, retail technology, and more. Experiential learning includes Gamecock iHub, USC’s Apple Authorized Campus Store, which is managed by Department of Retailing faculty members and students.

- Ecommerce: Conducting online buying and selling, managing transactions, and delivering products or services through digital platforms
- Accounting: Recording, classifying, and summarizing financial transactions to provide insight into financial health
