The Broadcast Journalism program at the University of South Carolina prepares students for a career in broadcasting, teaching them to report and narrate stories, shoot and produce video, and practice play-by-play and public speaking.

What You’ll Study
After completing the well-rounded Carolina Core and foundational requirements, students will learn to report and narrate stories, shoot and produce video, and practice play-by-play and public speaking via major courses. Students may also decide to pursue a sports media concentration as part of their studies.
