Earn your certification to teach dance in a rigorous dance classroom and studio environment while earning a broad undergraduate liberal arts education. Prepare to teach dance in a variety of settings.


An emphasis in dance education offers an opportunity to pursue your SC K-12 teacher's certification in addition to pursuing a degree in dance and participating fully in technique classes, performances and coursework. Gain practical teaching experiences through placement in K-12 schools and other educational and community partnerships.

What You’ll Study
