The Health and Life Sciences International Foundation Pathway: Certificate of Higher Education is designed to prepare students for undergraduate study in health and life sciences. This program develops students' English language and academic skills, providing a thorough grounding in academic study skills and introducing key concepts in human physiology.

Modules

• English: London as Global City (30 credits)
  • Develops core English language skills and introduces key academic skills and concepts.
• Data Analysis and Research Skills (30 credits)
  • Develops research, numeracy, and information technology skills, with a focus on equality, diversion, and inclusion in the UK.
• Foundations of Biological Sciences (30 credits)
  • Provides an introduction to the core principles and concepts of biological sciences, exploring genetic, environmental, and socio-economic factors affecting biological processes.
• Human Health and Disease (30 credits)
  • Offers a comprehensive introduction to the principles of human health, mechanisms underlying diseases, and tools used to study them, with an emphasis on health disparities and inequities.
