Module Details

English: London as Global City

This module develops students' core English language skills and introduces key academic skills and concepts.

Data Analysis and Research Skills

Students investigate the difference between primary and secondary research, conduct their own research project, and demonstrate findings through data analysis.

Learning and Child Development

This module provides an in-depth exploration of the principles, theories, and practices underpinning learning and child development.

Education Policy and Professional Ethics

Students critically evaluate the relationship between education policies and ethical practices, emphasizing their impact on teaching, learning, and professional responsibilities.

Skills

Students develop their English language and academic skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. They also gain a basic understanding of using English for academic purposes and develop transferable and lifelong learning skills.

Learning

The program is taught via lectures, seminars, and workshops. Students have regular contact with their academic guidance tutor and access to face-to-face and online careers and study support.

Assessment

Assessments include online tests, presentations, essays, group and individual presentations, comparative and reflective essays, multiple-choice exams, coursework, and reports.
