Other Requirements:

  • Students enrolling in units that have a practical component must make allowance for on-campus attendance to complete the practical work.
  • All Engineering Technology students will undertake at least 300 hours of approved work experience, plus complete a report outlining the experience gained, in order to complete the requirements of the degree.
  • This work experience must be in a suitable engineering-related area and must be approved by the Engineering Academic Chair. This professional practicum as well as support materials and guidance is provided in the 0 credit point unit ENG100 Engineering Professional Practice. This unit should be enrolled in each year.
