Program Overview

This three-year Ancient History and History joint honours degree program at the University of Leeds provides a comprehensive study of history from the ancient world to the 20th century, allowing students to combine the skills of classicists and historians across periods and cultures. Core modules provide a grounding in historical research methods, archaeology, literary analysis, and life in ancient Greek and Roman society. Students can also choose from a range of optional modules covering various historical periods and topics, including Sparta, the Tudors, black politics in the US, and Chinese history.
