Program Overview
This 12-month Performance PGDip program from the University of Leeds is designed for musicians seeking to refine their performance skills. Led by expert teachers and supported by a resident repetiteur, students focus on technical proficiency, presentation, and musical interpretation. Through individual lessons, classes, and masterclasses, participants prepare and perform a major recital as the centerpiece of their coursework. Additional module options allow for further exploration of extended works, applied performance studies, or research methodologies.
Entry Requirements:
A bachelor degree with a 2:1 (hons) in music or a related subject. The university may also consider relevant professional experience instead of formal musical qualifications, if you can demonstrate a good level of musical understanding or practical experience when you apply.
Language Proficiency Requirements:
IELTS 6.5 overall, with no less than 6.0. For other English qualifications, read English language equivalent qualifications.
