Entry Requirements

  • Mature applicants (i.e., over 23 years)
  • Leaving Certificate Grade O6 at ordinary level in five subjects in the Leaving Certificate. Two of these subjects must be Mathematics and a language (English or Irish)
  • QQI Level 5 – Full award with a minimum of eight modules
  • Recognition of Prior Learning

Schedule

  • 2-3 evenings per week 6pm to 9pm (online)
  • Plus selected Saturdays per 9am – 1pm (online)

Induction

  • Induction for the September 2024 programmes takes place on Saturday 7 September 2024 from 9.00am to 1.00pm
  • In advance, you will be required to review Pre-Induction reading material
  • During Induction, you will be given the opportunity to:
    • Meet your programme lecturers, programme co-ordinator and students
    • Overview of the programme handbook, programme’s modules, assessments and delivery timetable
    • Introduction to TUS learning systems including MS Office, Zoom, Moodle etc
    • Outline of the learning supports available to you during the programme

Progression

  • Students who complete this Special Purpose Award are eligible to progress onto the Certificate in Supervisory Management and Team Leadership Programme.
