Industry Led Training

  • Mick Malone, Head of Airworthiness at Part 21 Design Shannon said … ‘’We are delighted to be working with TUS and AAV Training on this exciting new Part 21 Design Technician Level 7 Special Purpose Award course. We believe it will bring a good understanding of initial airworthiness and introduce students to the very interesting world of aircraft design and initial airworthiness.’’
  • Mick explains why he has developed this course … ‘’It’s a great option for those who want to develop their careers as design engineers, I wish this course was available when I was starting off as a design engineer, we are also aware that currently there is a skills shortage of engineers and technicians to work in EASA approved design and production organizations’ from design engineer to more senior positions.’’
  • We are actively addressing this shortage by designing a course which will give our students the opportunity to develop the required knowledge and skills to confidently take up these positions. It also offers more experienced personnel a deeper insight into Initial Airworthiness, in particular, the classification and approval of modifications and repairs.
