Program Overview

The BA in Environmental and Sustainability Studies at George Mason University empowers students to understand environmental issues from three perspectives: people, prosperity, and planet. Through six concentration areas, students develop expertise in fields such as social justice, business and public policy, and environmental protection, preparing them for careers and graduate study in sustainability-related fields. This Green Leaf program offers an accelerated master's option and requires students to complete a writing-intensive course and 45 credits of upper-level coursework.
