Program Overview

The Early Childhood Education major at Colorado State University prepares students to work with children from birth to eight years old. The program emphasizes an understanding of human development and family studies, and prepares students to pursue licensure in Colorado. Graduates are qualified to work in a variety of settings, including pre-K to 3rd grade in public or private schools, Head Start, and childcare programs.
