Program Overview

Fundamentals of General Practice Nursing is a 15-credit, Level 6 module designed for registered nurses seeking employment or enhancement in General Practice Nursing. Through a combination of taught sessions and directed learning, the module equips nurses with the skills to assess, monitor, and manage patients with long-term conditions in primary care settings. Completion of the module provides a pathway to careers as General Practice Nurses, Primary Care Nurses, and Community Nurses.
