MA Creative Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Overview
The MA Creative Innovation and Entrepreneurship programme teaches students how to apply their existing creative practice to real-world business challenges. The programme focuses on the creative industries and creative entrepreneurship, and shares much of its teaching with other Innovation and Entrepreneurship programmes (MSc and MA).

Programme Structure
The degree is delivered through practical units on innovation-led entrepreneurial skills; design and systems thinking; and developing and prototyping ideas.
- First teaching block: Human-centred design thinking to develop innovations that create value by meeting real human needs
- Second teaching block: Exploring solutions for a real-world client, iterating to develop an unexpected range of possibilities and creating prototypes to test with customers or users
- Final summer project: Creating a product or service as an entrepreneurial or innovative new venture
Entry Requirements
- Typical requirements: Upper second-class honours degree or an international equivalent in any discipline
- Interim grades: Considered if currently completing a degree
- Work experience: Relevant work experience in the creative sector (minimum two years) or a relevant postgraduate qualification
- English language requirements: Profile level C
Fees and Funding
- Home: full-time: £19,700 per year
- Overseas: full-time: £35,300 per year
