This 1.5-year (full-time) Master of Science in Medicine (Advanced) in Sexual and Reproductive Health allows students to design and conduct supervised research in these areas. Guided by experts, students develop advanced knowledge and skills in sexual and reproductive health issues, including HIV, STIs, and psychosexual therapy. This course builds on the knowledge you've gained during our Master of Science in Medicine (Sexual and Reproductive Health), allowing high-achieving students to plan and carry out a supervised research project.
Outline:
- Program Duration: 1.5 years full-time (Available part-time)
- Credit Points: 60 total credit points
- Modules:
- 48 credit points are credited based on the successful completion of the Master of Science in Medicine (Sexual and Reproductive Health).
- 12 credit points of project units of study. Students complete a research project in an area of specific interest relevant to their Masters degree. Students will be guided through the steps required to plan and execute a substantial research project, and prepare a scholarly work which may be a paper for publication.
