Degree Overview:
This program introduces the fundamentals of human-centred design of products and systems, with a focus on interactive technologies and experiences. The Illumination Design specialisation will differentiate your skill set and enable you to work in the emerging area of interactive lighting.
Teaching:
You will learn to design across multiple platforms and scales – from wearable computing and mobile applications to interactive architecture, responsive environments and urban informatics. Through a series of collaborative design studios and technical workshops, you will acquire the essential knowledge and skills for envisioning, creating and evaluating innovative solutions to a range of design challenges.

Entry Requirements:
- Domestic Students:
- Bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney or an equivalent qualification with a credit average mark across all units.
- Completion of the requirements of the embedded graduate diploma.
- Completion of the requirements of the embedded graduate certificate with a weighted average mark of at least 70.
- International Students:
- Bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney or an equivalent qualification with a credit average mark across all units.
- Completion of the requirements of the embedded graduate diploma.
