The Master of Commerce is designed for students with prior business or management qualifications seeking to build on their existing expertise.
Outline:
The Master of Commerce is a postgraduate coursework degree that will give you a thorough understanding of commerce for use in various fields to assist you to pursue a career in business. In your first year, you will take core units that will help you develop responsible and creative mindsets and become comfortable with the analytic component of this course. You will choose one of eight specialisations offered and a foundational unit in your chosen specialisation. You will add breadth to your course by completing selective units from a variety of disciplinary subject areas. These specialisations include:

- Business Analytics

- Global Logistics
- Marketing
- Strategy, Innovation and Management In your final semester, you will complete a capstone unit where you will apply and integrate the skills and knowledge you'll gain throughout your specialisation. Additionally, you may complete elective units as needed to meet the requirements of the course. All units are taken from the disciplinary pool.

Graduates of the Master of Commerce program will gain the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue advanced positions in a variety of sectors, including private, public, and non-profit organisations. - An Australian bachelor's degree in commerce, business or related discipline with a credit average (65 percent) or equivalent qualification.
- An Australian bachelor's degree or higher in commerce, business or related discipline (minimum 50 percent average) or equivalent qualification, and satisfactory performance in the GMAT (for guidance, the class average score is 630) or GMAT Focus Edition (for guidance, the class average score is 585).
- An Australian bachelor's degree in any discipline with a credit average (65 percent) or equivalent qualification and a minimum of one-year relevant work experience.
- An Australian bachelor's degree with honours or higher in any discipline with a credit average (65 percent) or equivalent qualification.
- The University of Sydney Graduate Diploma or Graduate Certificate in Commerce with a credit average (65 percent).
