Program Overview

This honors calculus course, exclusive to Commonwealth Honors College first-year students, delves deeply into the subject matter, exploring the underlying theory, diverse applications, and historical perspectives. Active student participation is highly encouraged, and successful completion satisfies the R1 general education requirement due to the foundational math skills acquired throughout the course. The course spans from September 3 to December 10, 2024, meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 to 5:15 PM in Goessmann Lab Addition room 151, under the guidance of Professor Maria Correia.
