Program Overview


Informatics majors in the College of Information and Computing Sciences study the design, application, use, and impact of computational principles and technology. The program has a slant towards computational thinking as applied to other disciplines and is significantly tied to relevant endeavors in other departments. Entrants into the major will choose one of two concentrations: Data Science and Health and Life Sciences.
