Program Overview

The MS/PhD track prepares students for a research career in Computer Science. Students complete core courses in Systems, AI, and Theory, a research-focused MS project, and pass a portfolio-based Qualifying Exam. After forming a research committee, students complete dissertation credits and defend their thesis to earn both MS and PhD degrees. Financial support is typically provided through assistantships.
