Program Overview

The MPH in Environmental Health Sciences (EHS) at UMass Amherst provides working public health professionals with the knowledge and leadership skills to mitigate the effects of environmental stressors on human health. The program combines a foundation in EHS with broader training in public health sciences, allowing students to become leaders in the field and make the world a healthier place. Featuring a dedicated faculty, mentorship opportunities, and a required practicum, the program empowers students with the ability to understand and mitigate environmental risks to human health.
