Program Overview

The MS in Kinesiology at UMass Amherst explores the science of human movement and its impact on health. Students can specialize in one of four research areas: Biomechanics, Movement Neuroscience, Physical Activity and Health, or Physiology. Graduates are prepared for doctoral studies or careers in research, business, or study coordination. The program boasts a diverse faculty and offers research opportunities and specialized courses, including 'Physical Activity and Public Health.'
