Program Overview

The Master of Science in Manufacturing Engineering at UMass Amherst is a 30-credit, non-thesis program designed to equip students with the skills needed to lead the digital transformation of manufacturing. The program consists of 10 courses, including four core courses and six electives, and can be completed in 12 months for UMass Amherst engineering undergraduates or 24 months for students entering from outside UMass Amherst. The program is taught by experienced faculty and aims to educate the next generation of engineers with the skills necessary to advance the manufacturing industry.
