About Program
Program Overview
This 1-credit honors colloquium expands on Linear Regression, introducing the basics of ANOVA and analysis of categorical data using Minitab software. The course covers topics such as probability, random variables, central limit theorem, and hypothesis testing, and students complete a statistical project to demonstrate their learning. The course meets on Tuesdays, is taught by Joanna Jeneralczuk, and is open to Commonwealth Honors College students only.
Program Outline
Outline:
- Content: The course covers basics of probability, random variables, binomial and normal distributions, central limit theorem, hypothesis testing, and simple linear regression.
