Program Overview

The Department of African Studies and Anthropology offers four postgraduate research-only programs, allowing students to pursue their academic studies with a PhD or conduct research at the Masters level. The department has an international reputation for its interdisciplinary approach and diverse range of expertise, providing researchers with a strong grounding in anthropology and access to an active research community. Students will benefit from staff conducting research across the African continent and in the diaspora.
