Degree Overview:

The BSc Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science course is a three-year Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree. The program equips students with the fundamentals of computer science while providing optional modules for specialization in areas of interest. The curriculum is designed to provide a thorough education in computer science fundamentals in the first two years, with a focus on specialized artificial intelligence-related subjects in the final year. Teaching is a collaboration between academics on the Dubai campus and the Edgbaston Campus in the UK. Students have the opportunity to interact and work with students on the Edgbaston campus while studying in Dubai.

Assessment:

Each module is assessed independently, with some components of continuous assessment. Some modules are completely assessed by coursework. Assessment methods include end-of-year examinations, written assignments, oral and poster presentations, computer-based tests, marked exercises, and laboratory and project reports.

Teaching:

Teaching methods include a combination of lectures, labs, and tutorials. Lecturers are available to provide additional help throughout the degree. The program aims to prepare students for their graduate careers by helping them gain skills and experience in various ways, including communication and team working skills.

Tuition fee for 2024 entry is AED 132,778 per year of study and can be paid in instalments. Scholarships are available.
