  • In person classes may take place at the Edgbaston campus or the city centre building, The Exchange.

  • The aim of the bootcamps is to help individuals adjust to the changing economy by upskilling or reskilling, enabling the transition from work in declining sectors and occupations into new careers.
  • Our bootcamps focus on making learners as employable as possible by ensuring they learn the skills and gain the required qualifications for their new careers.

Other:

  • Skills Bootcamps are flexible courses giving people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills.
  • The flexible part-time format of the new University of Birmingham Skills Bootcamps makes it possible for people to diversify and develop the skills needed for alternate technical careers.
  • Our Skills Bootcamps do not require any previous degree qualifications or sector experience, allowing you to study something new whilst boosting your skills.
  • Topics include the fundamentals of UX/UI, Cyber Security, Data for Creative Industries and Net Zero Together.
