Program Overview

HEAP is a pathway for high school students into the University of Cincinnati's Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program. Highly qualified students who enroll in the undergraduate Health Sciences - Pre-Physical Therapy program can earn admission to the DPT program upon completing prerequisite courses and meeting GPA requirements. Students admitted to HEAP must also complete 50 hours of observation/volunteer work in a physical therapy setting and undergo a background check.
