Program Overview

The Heritage Studies certificate program provides students with an in-depth understanding of anthropological techniques and issues through a core curriculum that includes an internship and field course in archaeology. The program prepares graduates for careers as archaeologists, anthropologists, educators, and other professionals in related fields, emphasizing open-mindedness, analytical skills, and a disciplined imagination. Accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, the program requires a minimum of 90 hours of internship experience.
