About Program

Program Overview

The Transition and Access Program (TAP) is a four-year college experience for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, offering comprehensive support in vocational skills, self-determination, social competence, and independence. Students live on campus, take both UC undergraduate and TAP courses, and benefit from a program advisor to guide their journey to graduation and meaningful employment. The program has been recognized by the US Department of Education as a Comprehensive Transition and Postsecondary program (CTP).
