To obtain the IT certificate, a student prior to graduation, must have successfully completed all program requirements. A 2.0 average must be achieved in these courses to receive the certificate. All required courses must be completed within a two-year period from date of acceptance into the program.

This program is open to students holding a baccalaureate degree with a cumulative university grade point average of 2.0 and the desire to succeed. Although admission is open, students accepted into the program must meet the academic standards of the program to advance to upper levels of study. Interested students should meet with a UC College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services Student Services staff member for appropriate advising. Please note: In order to obtain this certificate, 100% of the required coursework must be taken from the College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services.
