Program Overview

This two-year AS degree prepares students to teach grades 5-9 in English language arts and mathematics. It focuses on the social and emotional needs of middle school students and promotes diversity in education. Upon graduation, students can pursue bachelor's degrees in education to become fully licensed teachers or work as Teacher Assistants with Associate degrees.
