Program Overview

The UC Clermont Pre-Elementary program equips students to become kindergarten through 5th-grade teachers by providing foundational knowledge in early childhood education and fostering an understanding of the complexities of educating young learners. The program prepares students for transfer to Northern Kentucky University for a bachelor's degree or entry into the workforce as teacher assistants or childcare workers. Students develop skills in communication, empathy, and cultural responsiveness, essential for success in teaching diverse young children.
