- Students gain real-world experience in the field of Instructional Design and Technology through the IDT 7180: Learning Technology Professional Experience course, which involves 7-8 hours per week of work in a school, non-profit organization, or corporation.

- These courses are also offered in the Master of Education in Instructional Design and Technology graduate program and the Blended Online Learning and Teaching (BOLT) graduate certificate.
- Upon completion of the required coursework, students can take the appropriate state-required exam and apply to the state of Ohio for the Computer Technology Endorsement.
- Courses taken prior to admission may be eligible for transfer into the program if taken within 5 years prior to admission.
- Practicum coursework cannot be transferred into the program.
- All transferred courses must have approval from the program faculty.
Entry Requirements:
- Goal Statement: Applicants must submit a statement outlining their goals for pursuing the Computer Technology Endorsement.
- Resume: A resume highlighting relevant work experience and skills is required.
- Minimum GPA: Applicants must have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 from an accredited institution.
