  • The program expands students' perspectives on the future of technology in K-12 education.
  • Students are supported by a team who addresses questions related to class registration, course sequence, licensure, and graduation application.
  • Students gain real-world experience in the field of Instructional Design and Technology through the IDT 7180: Learning Technology Professional Experience course, which involves 7-8 hours per week of work in a school, non-profit organization, or corporation.
  • The program offers courses such as:

  • Innovation and Technology Integration
  • These courses are also offered in the Master of Education in Instructional Design and Technology graduate program and the Blended Online Learning and Teaching (BOLT) graduate certificate.
  • Upon completion of the required coursework, students can take the appropriate state-required exam and apply to the state of Ohio for the Computer Technology Endorsement.
  • Courses taken prior to admission may be eligible for transfer into the program if taken within 5 years prior to admission.
  • Practicum coursework cannot be transferred into the program.
  • All transferred courses must have approval from the program faculty.
