Program Overview

The National Foundation Education Module in Critical Care Nursing is a 10-credit, level 8, part-time module designed for practicing nurses in Ireland who have not completed postgraduate education in critical care or have limited experience in the field. It is taught through a flexible blended learning approach over 6 months, with two intakes per year. Upon completion, successful students will be able to safely care for critically ill patients in the intensive care environment.
