Entry Requirements:
- Academic Qualifications: Applicants should possess a minimum of an upper second class honours (2:1) degree or international equivalent at bachelors level in any academic field. Preference is given to applicants with undergraduate disciplines related to Geography.
- Academic Grades: Good academic grades are required, and transcripts should include grades for each subject taken.
- Referees: Applicants must provide names and contact details of two referees who can assess their intellectual ability, maturity, and motivation. At least one referee should be a member of academic staff at the applicant's current institution.
- English Language Proficiency: Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency of IELTS 6.5 (no band less than 6.0 in each element), or equivalent.
- Pre-Sessional or International Pre-Master's Pathway Programs: Students meeting the program's academic entry requirements but not the English language requirements may enter the program upon successful completion of UCD's Pre-Sessional or International Pre-Master's Pathway programs.
Language Proficiency Requirements:
- IELTS: IELTS 6.5 (no band less than 6.0 in each element) is required for applicants whose first language is not English.
