The MSc Global Business Practice, offered by Bord Bia in partnership with UCD Smurfit School, is a fully funded, 24-month program for ambitious graduates seeking expertise in the global food industry. Through a blend of virtual and in-person learning, participants gain competencies in export development, marketing, and sustainability while completing international placements across Bord Bia's global offices. Graduates are well-prepared for careers in the Irish food/agribusiness industry, particularly in export development, marketing, and strategic planning.

Degree Overview:
The MSc Global Business Practice (Bord Bia International Graduate Programme) is a full scholarship program offered by the Bord Bia Talent Academy in partnership with Smurfit Executive Development, UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.
Objectives:
- To develop global food industry expertise in ambitious final year students and recent graduates.
- To equip graduates with key competencies relevant to developing and implementing strategies for the Irish food/agribusiness industry.
Program Description:
- A full-time, 24-month Action Learning program designed around eight modules.
- Delivered virtually or in-person, with block releases in Dublin combined with industry placements.
- Participants receive a tax-free bursary of €43,700- €49,450 to cover basic living costs.
- Upon completion, graduates will have developed competencies in export development strategies, customer and market insights, marketing plan development, strategic marketing, customer value propositions, global business in a digital context, logistics and supply chain management, and business sustainability.

- Participants will be placed in Bord Bia offices in Dublin or overseas, including locations such as New York, London, Dubai, Shanghai, Paris, Amsterdam, Madrid, Milan, Düsseldorf, Stockholm, and Warsaw.
- The program is intended to offer 70 scholarship places, with 30 places allocated to the MSc Global Business Practice (Bord Bia International Graduate Programme).
- UCD Smurfit School and Bord Bia reserve the right to offer scholarship places to more or less than the target of 70 places.
