Program Overview

The Global History MA, offered at UCD, prepares students to think critically about historical problems from local, national, and international perspectives. Through seminars led by world-class researchers, students gain expertise in presenting, analytical thinking, and effective communication. The program offers a range of core and optional modules covering diverse topics from gender and imperialism to modern diplomacy and Irish historiography.
