Program Overview

The MSc Politics degree from UCD was developed to foster an understanding of the roles of politics in shaping modern-day challenges. The course has two primary pillars – comparative politics, with a comparative perspective of European nation-states, and political theory, which involves reflection on the inherent nature of politics. Graduates have pursued careers as government social researchers, diplomatic advisors, and public relations officers, among many other roles in both the private and public sectors and non-profit organizations.
