Overview of the Japanese, Post-Beginners Course

The Japanese, Post-Beginners course is designed to extend learners' 'survival' repertoire of spoken Japanese and their knowledge of the Japanese writing system. Aspects of the cultural background are also dealt with.

Course Details

• The course lasts for 24 weeks, divided into two terms.
• Classes commence from mid-September and run on Tuesdays between 6:30pm-8:30pm.
• Classes are taught in-person on campus at the Centre for Language and Communication Studies, Arts Building, Trinity College Dublin.

Course Fees

• The full rate for the course is €395.
• A concession rate is available to all those retired, over 65s, and those on a government pension/payment plan and the unwaged, including second- and third-level students.

Eligibility and Application

• Applications open in August 2024.
• You must be 18 years of age or older to enroll in the School of Linguistic, Speech, and Communications Sciences evening courses.
