Program Overview


Immunotherapeutics (M.Sc)

Overview

The MSc in Immunotherapeutics is a one-year, full-time, multidisciplinary postgraduate degree taught by leading academics in the field of Immunology with guest speakers from the biopharma industry. This course focuses on the immune system in cancer, autoimmunity, infection, and neurodegeneration, and how cutting-edge immunotherapies are revolutionizing the treatment of life-threatening and debilitating diseases.


Course Structure

  • Students take modules totaling 90 ECTS, which consist of 60 ECTS taught modules and a 30 ECTS project placement and dissertation.
  • Students will partake in a six-month project placement in a relevant industry in collaboration with an academic member of staff.

Admission Requirements

  • Applicants will normally be required to hold at least an upper second-class Honours degree (2.1) or higher in Medicine, Veterinary Science, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Immunology, Biochemistry, or a related subject.
  • English Language Requirements: All applicants to Trinity are required to provide official evidence of proficiency in the English language. Applicants to this course are required to meet Band B (Standard Entry) English language requirements.
