Program Overview
The Postgraduate Certificate in Innovation & Enterprise Development is a 22-week program that aims to equip students with the skills to approach problem-solving in an innovative way. The program is designed to provide students with the tools to generate and recognize entrepreneurial opportunities, and to develop the skills necessary to bring an idea from development to implementation.

Modules
The program consists of three modules:
- Innovation & Creativity: This module explores principles and practices associated with creativity and innovation, exposing students to frameworks and methodologies for idea generation, problem-solving, and creative collaboration.
- Opportunity Generation, Recognition & Communication: This module provides students with the tools to generate and recognize entrepreneurial opportunities, with a focus on the communication and articulation of such opportunities in an influential manner.
- Enterprise Development: This module introduces students to the process involved in creating, leading, and scaling an entrepreneurial start-up venture.
Admission Requirements
- Funding Eligibility: As outlined on the Springboard+ website.
- Academic Requirements: Applicants must be in possession of a level 8 honors degree (or equivalent) in any discipline from a recognized institution. Those with demonstrated entrepreneurship aspirations will be prioritized.
- English Language Requirements: Applicants must meet Band B (Standard Entry) English language requirements.
- Additional Requirements: All students are required to have a laptop or PC, a webcam, and a stable internet connection.
Course Fees
- Springboard+ Funding: Covers 100% of course fees for eligible, unemployed applicants, and 90% of course fees for eligible, employed applicants.
- Remaining Course Fee: €300 for employed applicants.
Program Structure
The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of innovation and enterprise development, with a focus on practical application and real-world experience. The program is delivered through a combination of in-person and online classes, and includes opportunities for peer-to-peer learning and engagement with entrepreneurs, business leaders, and industry mentors.
