Overview of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology Program
The Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology program is an online course designed to meet the requirements of the pharmaceutical industry. It has been developed in collaboration with industry experts and the regulatory authority to provide flexibility for students who are working in supervisory and management roles in the pharmaceutical industry.

Admission Requirements
Applicants are expected to have an Honours Bachelor's degree (ideally 2.1 or above) in one of the following disciplines: chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, medicine and technology, or biology. Some experience of working in the pharmaceutical manufacturing and associated industries is also desirable.
English Language Requirements
All applicants to Trinity are required to provide official evidence of proficiency in the English language. Applicants to this course are required to meet Band B (Standard Entry) English language requirements.
Course Structure
The course is a two-year online course running from January to December each year. To achieve the Postgraduate Diploma, students will complete eight taught modules, totaling 60 ECTS. Candidates who are eligible and wish to progress to the Masters program must complete a QP Professional Industrial dissertation worth 30 ECTS.

Career Opportunities
This course is offered to graduates working in the pharmaceutical industry who wish to satisfy the EU educational requirements for the role of the Qualified Person (QP) responsible for the manufacture of human and veterinary medicinal products. Many of our graduates now hold global or senior executive quality management positions in pharmaceutical multinational companies.
