Overview of Business Studies and Polish

Admission Requirements

  • Leaving Certificate: O4/H6 Mathematics, H4 in a language other than English
  • GCSE: Grade B/6 Mathematics
  • Advanced GCE (A Level): Grade C in a language other than English
  • International Baccalaureate: SL Grade 5 Mathematics, HL Grade 5 in a language other than English
  • English Language Requirements: All applicants are required to provide official evidence of proficiency in the English language, meeting Band B (Standard Entry) English language requirements.

Course Structure

The program is structured over four years, with the third year spent at a university or business school in Poland. The course includes modules in business studies, Polish language, and Polish area studies. Students will also undertake a work placement in Poland to apply and develop their business and language skills in a professional setting.


First and Second Years

  • Approximately 18-20 hours of lectures and tutorials per week

  • A work placement of approximately two months' duration is undertaken in Poland
  • In the fourth year, students complete a Capstone module involving independent research
