The Lir Academy – Introduction to Playwriting
Overview
This ten-week program is designed for novice or budding playwrights to explore the fundamentals of playwriting. Throughout the program, students will develop the tools to craft stories using frameworks such as narrative structure through plot and setting. The course will look at how stories unfold to engage, fascinate, or tease an audience. It will also explore character and dialogue.
Date, Time, and Place
This course runs at various times throughout the year, for one evening a week over 10 weeks, at The Lir National Academy of Dramatic Art, Trinity Technology and Enterprise Campus, Pearse Street at Grand Canal Quay, Dublin 2.
